Orcs are narcissistic brutes. They are considered to be vicious and cruel in the best of times, and many of the other races will avoid them.
Orcs are brutes when it comes to reproduction and the Male must force the Female to mate with him. If she doesn't fight back the Male is unable to reproduce. Marriages can sometimes occur when the Female decides the Male is strong enough to keep and will force him to stay with her. This is considered to be the greatest honor for a Male. Luckily Orcs are extremely picky and prefer only their own race.
