Gnomes are not technically racist, only because they think EVERYONE is beneath them… and most of the time, even other gnomes

Gnome courtship involves a long involved exchange between a male and the female and the females family. The male will first send a thesis to the females father, in no less then 25 pages, detailing why his proposal will produce a pairing that will be to each sides benefits. After several correspondences back and forth in which the father decides if the male in question is credible enough to speak to his daughter, the father will allow the male to write a proper communication to the daughter directly, again no less then 25 pages. In response the female will pen a reply outline issues with the thesis and suggest changes that might possibly increase the value of the proposal should he wish to respond. This back and forth posturing and establishing of value and interest helps to ensure the interest of the female as it shows the males intelligence and fortitude when conducting research and a proper gnomish argument. Gnomes will normally only have 2 children, ensuring they are doing exactly what they must to properly extend the race, though if there is a death in the family the most intelligent pair in child bearing years will take on the burden of having a third. This is avoided at all costs however, as it is “Quite the distraction”

Gnomes live entirely on their gnomish shake concoctions. Perfecting their recipes in order to get the most efficient meal in the most expedient manner at each and every meal time.

If the gnomes were to try to worship anything it would be a giant floating brain.

Gnomes go wherever their research takes them, though most of them reside in their home city of Beetlebum, named for the current Governor.
