The corrupted can be identified by the purple hue in their eyes, unfortunately this can only be seen when the creature is fairly close (30 ft). Research by Stratsberg has discovered these creatures have a piece of crystallized mana embedded in them with a variety of enchantments written on the stone.

Detect magic can also locate these creatures as viewing the creature gives an indeterminate result.
